Rule #1 of software development for non-trivial projects:

There is ALWAYS one more bug.

Corollary #1 to Rule #1:

Finishing a non-trivial project takes three times longer than what
you expected.

  Yes, and when the program is completely debugged it will be obsolete.

  Stated another way;  90% of the time is spent working on 10% of the code,
which does 90% of the work...
