One of the local IBM sysops told me that he just got a new external protocol called Hyper protocol, which gave him at least 4800 and sometimes near 10000 bps on a 2400 bps modem. Has anybody implemented this for the Amiga? (It would sort of make up for the lack of a software MNP device!) (By the way, I'm skeptical about the 10000 bps figure.
