I am now the proud owner of the latest UST Robotics Dual Standard Modem. And i must say in conjunction with my Amiga 2000 the transfer speeds are impressive. I have just a question, what is the best setup for the Modem and AMiga.??? Going From HST to HST is no problem but i sometimes get problems loggin into other type of modems. Such as the Ventex Pathfinder, login at 1200 Baud is OK, 2400 Baud is scrambled and 9600 baud one does not know about the other..... There is a program out there called amimodem that sets up the modem via the AMiga, but when i run that, my modem does not recognize the dial tone and never calls out. So i suppose the program is not compatible with the latest of the UST robotics Dual Standard (With V42/v42bis) Does anybody know if the modem can talk to the Ventex Pathfinder at such high speeds.??? Any help with the setup that makes the modem even fast more compatible.???? Any help is apreciated..... Hank Janssen .........!att!ihlpb!hjanssen
