Can anyone out there supply some hints on how AtalkIII might be made to run on an A3000? While moving software from my 2000, I was rudely surprised to find that ATIII wouldn't run. I tried re-installing from the original distribution disks. Attempting this from the Workbench (i.e., clicking on the Install icon) got me to a Software Error alert. Executing the install script from a Shell worked better, inasmuch as it copied all the necessary files, but when I attempt to launch AtalkIII, nothing happens except a reduction in available chip and fast memory (as if allocations aren't being freed). You'll need version 1.3c or later of ATalk III to run on the A3000 (1.3c is over a year old).
