------------------------ Please reply by mail ------------------- An instructor here has a small lab with 4 Amiga 500's, 1 Amiga 2000, and 1 Macintosh IIcx. She would like to network them together -- but would be happy if just the 2000 could "talk" to the Macintosh. The mail goal would be to move images from one machine to the other with the goal of getting them printed on one of the color printers in computing or engineering. - At first blush, "ethernet" seems to be a nice way to go. If the 2000 could get an Ethernet card, it could talk to the Mac -- and the rest of campus. Are there reasonably priced ethernet cards for the 2000 -- and do they come with the appropriate software (FTP certainly needed, Telnet very helpful.) - Scanning back news items, I noticed some mention of Appletalk for Amiga? Is that a reasonable idea ? - If that fails, are there ways to read / write Amiga disks on the Mac (e.g. via a translator in Apple file exchange) ? Thanks Steve
