Hello everybody, I just installed ParNet between my A3000 and my A1000. Both machines are currently running under Kickstart 37.175 and Workbench 37.52. Parnet works fine, but everytime I access a file on the A1000-HDs, small amounts of memory get eaten. Since I have only 2.5 MB on the 1000 and would like to run the newsreader on the A3000 with the UUNEWS:-Dir (and the rest of the UUCP-Package) on one of the A1000-HDs, this is not tolerable. (I just read news for about an hour, and lost nearly 50k of memory on the 1000 which wasn't given back to the system) Did anybody else experience the problem ? Is a newer version than ParNet 2.4 (the one from Fish 400) available ?
