[comp.sys.amiga.programmer] AmigaOS quirk

dave@csis.dit.csiro.au (David Campbell) (01/21/91)

When LoadSeg fails, AmigaDos always prints up something the equivalent
of "file is not executable", which is an incorrect assumption because
the same message is displayed when memory is so low that no memory can
be allocated for new segments.

In my opinion this should be fixed because it can lead a person to
believe they're being virally attacked when the only problem is that
memory is low. Please make AmigaOS more friendly. The problem happens
in OS 2.x as well.
