Hi, I'm one of the authors of an IFF/GIF analyzer program called FileID (available on NewXanth, etc.) The new version has been expanded to cover EVERY IFF chunk type that I can find docs for. I've located a couple of common chunks in my test files that I can't find any docs for. The first one is the DPAN chunk. I found this on in a DPaint III animation file. It's data is 8 bytes long. (After the chunk ID and chunk size). The second is the SNX1 chunk. This appears in every SMUS file that I've tested. The obvious conclusion is that it contains Sonix settings, but I could be wrong. Any help would be appreciated. Watch for FileID 1.3 appearing on NewXanth, GEnie, and my board RSN! %% Lloyd Eldred -- The Coconut Telegraph BBS (703) 953-0605 Virginia Tech Amiga Users Group (ARUS) President
