I just sent this to suggestions@cbmvax... but I figgered I'd post it here as well to get the net's response. How about making assigns possible through the tool types fields of the icon, chosen by selecting the icon and info. This would be easy for Joe user, would mean that the s-s wouldn't have to be altered, and the programmer's can pre-program it.
