I'm in need of some help in designing a script file. What I would like it to do is take as set if ascii files I have, numbered in this manner "Contents.xxx" such that xxx goes from 001 to 430 (Yes, they are the contents files for the Fred Fish disks. Anyway, I want to send them to the printer, but I want a FORM FEED placed after the end of each file, so that each file starts at the top of a new page. I'm running Dos 1.3, on a 2000HD w/ 1MEG ram. All I have for manuals is the AmigaDOS 1.3 Enhancer Software manual (came with the computer). Also, what would be an excellent general purpose 1.3 manual to get? Thanks in advance. -- |><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><| |<>| Douglas Hanna Bradley University |<>| |><| HITCHhiker (042) hitch@buhub.bradley.edu |><| |<>| "All disclamers, standard and nonstandard apply" |<>| |><| "Another Brilliant mind destroyed by the rigors of |><| |<>| higher education" |<>| |><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><|

I'm While I could write a script to do this, there's a program on your 1.3 Extras disk called 'PrintFiles' that will do exactly what you want. No script is needed. andy -- andy finkel {uunet|rutgers|amiga}!cbmvax!andy Commodore-Amiga, Inc. "God was able to create the world in only seven days because there was no installed base to consider."
