Sorry to keep posting this many times, but things keep changing here. We have just received an Internet address here. That should be the most direct way of reaching the server. Please try: filerequest@deepthot.cary.nc.us first. Also, the system is running quite a bit behind. At this point it's able to service two requests an hour. This is quite a bit faster than it was originally, however keep this in mind. It may take awhile for your reply to come back. Don't flood the system with requests. I've changed the software around so that HELP files (very small) are sent first. All help requests are serviced once an hour, so if you want to check connectivity send a help request. That will tell you if you made it here, and how long the round trip is. I do have around 700K of pending requests, this will take some time to service before the new code kicks in. So, the above HELP suggestion will not be available for about a week.
