[comp.sys.amiga.programmer] ls v4.1ljr

cs326ag@ux1.cso.uiuc.edu (Loren J. Rittle) (02/22/91)

<Note: c.s.a.hardware is only listed because it was where the
original talk of broken versions of ls was taking place. Please
respect the followup line... :->

Due to many requests for my version of ls, I just placed it
on ab20.larc.nasa.gov. My sympathizes go out to you if you
don't have ftp, but alas I cannot mail a copy to all who want
it. Bug Tad to put it in c.[bs].a if you want it. I would
put it in the queue to go out, but ISpell v3.2ljr, submitted
two-three weeks ago, still has not come through. It does
bother me a bit that DICE v2.06 was finished and submitted
after ISpell v3.2ljr(I know from dates in the netdcc tree), but
yet was posted to c.b.a before ISpell appeared :-(.
Note: I respect Matt Dillon greatly and I am quite glad
Tad is providing space for amiga archives, but I don't
like to see favoritism. As an aside, I thought freeware was
going to take precedence over shareware. What happened?

Oh, one final thing - look at the ls-4.1ljr.README, it is
different than the one inside ls-4.1ljr.lzh...

Loren J. Rittle
[Tad if you can give a good reason for this apparent favoritism
I would love to hear about it.]

recent MacExpo. Gee, you wouldn't think that an Apple Exec would be so
worried about one little Amiga Device... Loren J. Rittle l-rittle@uiuc.edu
