[comp.sys.amiga.programmer] Transferring AMIGA-ansi control sequences to VTxxx and nroff

ferry@chorus.fr (Ferry de Jong) (02/27/91)

Does there exist a program on the AMIGA or for UN!X that can
transform an AMIGA-document with control characters like <ESC>]0m
(Underlining, boldface, forground and background colour change etc.)
into an similair looking document that can be cat(1)-ed on a UN!X
machine with a VTxxx (52/100/220) terminal emulator, (xterm) and for
transforming it into a similair looking troff document.

I need to have something like this to print AMIGA documents on the
laserwriter connected to a SUN-station and reading them on the screen.

Please send any information to me by e-mail, I'll summarize for the net
if asked.
