[comp.sys.amiga.programmer] Amiga Floppy Disk Format.

Roger Smith <ACPS5788@Ryerson.CA> (02/27/91)

Hi,
At the risk of being heavily Flamed, I am seeking information on Disk format
information for Amiga floppies. I am considering writing a File exchange progra
m for the MAC that would read an amiga floppy and display its contents as a
list of files . One source i've heard of is "Amiga DiskDrives inside and out".
Can someone recommend another source or area that might be helpful?

                                                        Thanks
                                                          Roger Smith

                                                          Ont. Canada.

I sort of feel that the freely distributable Amiga classic program DISKX
does a very good job at a very practical level of educating one about the
AmigaDOS disk format (at least the original format -- can't say anything
about teh FastFile System since my Amiga has a keyboard garage and 2
floppies :-)
