Hello, I'm looking for a custom AUX: device, I have a serial terminal but
it doesn't understand ANSI escape codes, so when i run a shell from the
terminal i get funny characters and sometimes the terminal locks up.
I would like to have a AUX: device that reads ANSI escape codes from the
amiga and writes the equivalent codes to the serial port, these codes
must be user definable. It would be perfect if this device gets the
conversion codes from S:termcap or something like that ! :-)
My question is: does anyone know of such a device, does it exist ? if so,
where can i get it ?
Second question : If it doesn't exist i'm willing to write it myself, but
it would be VERY nice if i had the source for the current AUX: driver. Is
this available ? where can i get it ?
If i have the source it shouldn't be so difficult to convert the codes
just before a read/write ! (I hope so :^) )
Thanks, Marc Blom

Not likely. Take a look at Fred Fish #79, where you will read: AuxHandler Example of a dos handler that allows use of a CLI via the serial port. Includes source.
