Anyone out there still using Metacomco's Pascal ?. A superior alternative is PCQ Pascal, public domain, costing 3 pounds !! Compilation time is about the same, code from PCQ seems to be faster, and PCQ has not made my Amiga hang yet ( Metacomco's has frequently ). Jon Clarke

Won't even compile the example stuff distributed with it. Can you guess what kind of Amiga I have? Yes, a 3000. I hope they offer a upgrade sometime soon. I actually kind of like(d) PCQ. > >Jon Clarke -- Colin DeWolfe dewolfe@ug.cs.dal.ca

I picked up V1.1d from "new xanth" (abcfd20...) and noticed that the README.PCQ file mentions something about source and runtime archives in some distributions. Are these available from some other ftp site? Or do I have to send a floppy to Patrick Quaid to get these last elements of the full distribution? E-mail preferred. Hi. Please pass along the best Pascal Compiler / Package name out there in your opinion. I need it to handel pointers, to manipulate strings fairly well. Good documentation a must. I'm a turbo pascal dude from the dead IBM land... I appreciate the time it takes to reply...
