I am using SasC 5.10 and am having troubles with a program. It would reaaly help me if someone could tell me how to use that @#@$% codeprobe to step inside functions. I need this information real quick, so please post right away! Ken

Ken, I *assume* you have a licensed copy of SAS/C complete with manuals. Right? It's fully documented therein. In any event, the "magic" key is, I think, F7, which causes cpr to step into, rather than simply execute, functions. As I recall, there's a line at the top of the screen that indicates that as well (?). Another thing you can do is simply set a breakpoint inside of the function you want to see, and then step normally thru it. (Heh, if you think SAS's docs are unclear, you ought to try dealing with the Microsoft C docs sometime.) Hope this helps and good luck. -- Jim Seymour | Medar, Inc. ...!uunet!medar!jseymour | 38700 Grand River Ave. jseymour@medar.com | Farmington Hills, MI. 48331 CIS: 72730,1166 GEnie: jseymour | FAX: (313)477-8897
