A thousand apologies to those of this fine newsgroup...about two seconds after posting my message about GZZ Intuimessages, I found that I made a mistake in the line that goes something like this: wind->RPort->Layer->Window = (APTR)wind; I had it set to a different window pointer, a part of my coding process that I had abandoned (I thought) several days ago.
