[comp.sys.amiga.programmer] cli's and execute

jpotter@ucs.adelaide.edu.au (Jonathan Potter) (04/18/91)

An interesting one. A script file that tries to run a non-existant program
will abort with an "unknown command error" when run from a NewCLI, a NewShell,
and a NewWsh (bill hawes' wshell). What WShell also seems to do however is to
return a code of 20, which means that if you set your failat level above 20,
the script file will not abort.

Is there any way of convincing the cli and shell to act in this manner?
Are you reading this Bill? What does WShell do that is different?

Thanks..

Jon
