[comp.sys.amiga.programmer] Prolog available??

kellyw@telstr.UUCP (Kelly Wright) (04/20/91)

Is anyone out there aware of an implementation of PROLOG for the Amiga? I'm
still in search of the *perfect* language and I thought I would take a look at
Prolog, if its available. Also, any book(s) that are available on Prolog
would be nice...

Email back would be helpful as opposed to Public postings as I don't get on
the net to read the news groups too often but I *do* receive email.

Gee lets see, so far I've looked at 'C', Comal, three versions of BASIC, and
am currently playing with Modula2. All of them have their strengths and
weeknesses of course but I still haven't found the one language that I REALLY
like.

What I'm after MUST have: True compiler (not simply run time)
                           Relatively small final code size
                           FAST execution time
                           Understandable/clean syntax (don't like this
                                                        cryptic stuff)

So far, it seems Modula2 is the closest to what I'm after, but I *am* open to
suggestions.

Regards...
