I'd like to one day be able to program my 3000 but I'm not there yet. So, I w anted to know if someone could tackle a problem of mine for me. I have an Okimate 20 printer that consistently prints horizontal white lines in its colour graphics output. It seems that the problem is not only the tractor feed but there's not always enough heat in the upper print elements to fully m elt all the wax from the ribbon to the paper. I've tried new printheads and th e results are the same, I've also heard of these problems from other Okimate 20 owners. Would it be possible to rewrite the Okimate 20 printdriver so that it only uses the lower print elements, ignoring the upper 2, and adjust the linefeed accord ingly to eliminate both problems. Another upgrade to the current Okimate 20 print driver that I'd like to see is the use of double and quadruple density printing. The current driver only sup ports single density. I'd really appreciate it if someone could write a new driver and I would pay a reasonable shareware fee for it. Jason Koszarsky, JBK4@PSUVM
