Well, guys, I have just produced a multi-tasking demo that preserves the state of the machine. It has copperlists from hell that are updated every vertical blank, and I'm using my own modified version of the MedPlayer that hits every 50th of a sec using CIAB It woks, I can download at 2400, I get errors at 9600 (player routine, soon to be worked-around) and allocs all memory, returns the machine when done. Uses a tiny bit of CPU due to the looping mouse-button read (soon to be eliminated) and so on and so on. I use LOTS o blitter, and I don't seem to have any problems other than the serial crap, but I have found a work around, just need to implement it. Who else has been working on this sort of "multitasking demo thing"??? Post about it, or mail me your thoughts... --------------------------- _ _ _ _ ___ __ __ _ __ _ | Kurt "Koleman" Koller | ( )/ ) /,\ ( ) ( __)( \/ ) ( ) ( \ ( ) | P.O.
