I suddenly have developed a very strange problem. I hadn't used ProWrite (v.
3.1.1) in some time, but the need arose yesterday to print something out
quickly. So, I fired up ProWrite, typed it in, and told it to print. The
default margins were (for some reason :-) 1 1/2'' on the left, and 7 1/2'' on
the right. The printer got the left margin exactly, but decided that it
didn't want to print anything past 7 inches at the right margin! No matter
what I try, when I print out something using ProWrite, the text is chopped
off at the 7 inch mark, 1 1/2'' from the right edge.
I switched over to TeX to do my printing, and TeX worked fine. Now, the
printer driver I use with TeX bypasses the preferences drivers and dumps
directly to PAR:, while of course, ProWrite uses PRT: and Preferences.
I was most definitely NOT having this problem the last time I used ProWrite.
I don't know if it is a problem with ProWrite, or the printer driver, or
what. I booted off a virgin Workbench 1.3 disk, and had the same results
with nothing running in the background.
My printer is the Panasonic KX-P1124. I tried the Nec-Pinwriter driver, and
also the PanasonicPlus.020 driver recently posted to ab20. My computer is an
A2500/30.
