I am using req.library 2.5 with ARexx to prompt the user for a string. I use the req.library function stringreq which works great except that I would rather that the requester be on another screen. Since the ARexx interpreter is a task, req.library will always put the requester on the Workbench screen. Is there some way to make req.library think that the ARexx task is actually a DOS process associated with the other screen or something to make the requester come up where I want. I am capable of writing the C program necessary to accomplish this task but I was wondering if there was a simpler way. ---Mike Stark stark@wam.umd.edu Department of Physics and Astronomy stark@umdhep.bitnet University of Maryland stark@lampf.lanl.gov College Park, MD 20742-4111

Actually, each ARexx program is an AmigaDOS process, not just an Exec task. They inherit most of their settings from the rexxmast program, except for a few which can be overriden when an ARexx program is started. -- Eric Giguere giguere@csg.UWaterloo.CA Unlike the cleaning lady, I have to do Windows.
