Let's take this from the top. I'll let the Manx vs. Lattice thread fizzle out, and start over. Imprimus: There are differences between the Manx and Lattice compilers and their run-time libraries. Secundus: Many programmers (presumably ex-C64 jocks) write code that was never designed to be portable. Tertius: In practical terms, this leads to a lot of time wasted porting code, or a lot of code left unused. So, I would like to propose an effort to provide the tools needed to automate as much of this porting as possible. Who wants to join me on this?
