is there any public domain Cross Assembler or simulator  
for the 68HC11 microcontroler availibal. If, can you please tell me
if I can get it at an anonymous FTP site.

    DASM handles 68HC11 just fine, you should be able to find it on many of
    the Amiga FTP sites.

    DASM is an assembler I wrote a few years ago that handles 6502, 68HC11,
    and a few other flavors of motorolas 8 bit 6800 series processors.
