[comp.sys.amiga.programmer] Recoverable RAM drive

downin@oasys.dt.navy.mil (Dave Downin) (06/13/91)

I am wondering how I can change the name of the recoverable RAM drive
via DOS. I don't particularly like looking at a ram drive with the
name "RAMB0".

No problem! Just use the "Relabel" command just as you would for any other
  drive:

> relabel RAMB0: Eric_The_Half_Bee

(Or whatever else you'ld like to name it...)

Just use the ReLabel command in your startup-sequence.

RAD: only uses the volumename "RAMB0" by default.
If you want a different name, just RELABEL it right
after you mount it.

RELABEL DRIVE RAD: NAME Blurb
