Does anybody know why Lattice C 5.0 crashes under the 2.0 operating system? Is there some easy fix, or is it best just to pay the money and upgrade to SAS C 5.1 ?

This is quite strange. However, 5.0 is quite old now and there have been several updates (free in fact) along the way - 5.02, 5.04, and 5.05. You can contact Technical Support to get that automatic update if you desire. The phone number for the is (919) 677-8009.
