[comp.sys.amiga.programmer] I found a TICK VIRUS

GELSON%SBU.UFRGS.ANRS.BR@uicvm.uic.edu (Gelson Dias Santos) (06/24/91)

Last weekend I found a Tick Virus in a friend's disk. It was detected and
removed by Virus_Checker 5.22. I didn't find a virus description in the
Virus_Checker docs. It was a boot block type and seems to be harmless, but I
would like to confirm with you. Anyone can give me a short explanation about
wat this virus does? I have a virus backup, if anyone want a copy.

I stopped comment the simple BB viruses in the docs because the file was
getting to big. Any virus that is recognized but not mentioned what it does
in the docs is just a virus that will copy itself from disk to disk.
