It's a AT&T (2.1) compliant Cfront C++ preprocessor that enables you to code in C++, and then generate 'normal' C code that your compiler of choice (SAS/C preferred) can then compile, and produce executable code. Comeau C++ is available from Comeau Computing. 91-34 120th Street Richmond Hill, NY 11418 (718) 945 0009. Price is $US250. Although they slugged me $US60 for postage and packaging to Australia :-(. It requires a C compiler, and Arexx. I have yet to try it out :-(, since I only just got my SAS/C compiler. Now I get to ask a question; Does anyone know if the Amiga object library is out yet? I'd be interested to hear from people, either in here, or via Email. Ta.
