[comp.sys.amiga.programmer] How to store a number directly to memory and then read it

neil@pnet01.cts.com (Neil Coito) (06/29/91)

What is the best way to store a number directly to memory, and then read that
same location back again to check to see that the number is still there. I
control the memory block so tehre is no problem of going directly to a
location. Sort of the way a memory testing program works: write a number to a
location then read it and see if you get back the same number. I have SAS
5.10 in case it matters. Thank you ahead of time anyone, for any help.
