UNIX has been running on 730's since about March of 1980 (sometime before it was announced). BSD as released from Berkeley, does not currently support the standard configurations. I suspect 4.2 will and as things stand now, a tape drive better be on the 730. Current plans do not include the distribution of RL02 packs but you never know. aps.
