Yeah, with this many well focused newsgroups, crossposting is just
simple rudeness; in addition, it is a hell of a nuisance to those still
receiving the group by email, since they're getting a separate copy of
the article for each cross-posted group to which they subscribe.

Here too; having things sorted out makes it a lot easier to nuke stuff
I don't want to read in trn; some groups I know I want to read entire,
so I don't need to go through the subject lines; other groups I know I
read little of, so I take the time for triage.  Best of all, they usually
fit in a single screen at 48 lines (love that interlace mode in vt100),
making it really easy to sort things out.

Kent is a shut-in grumpus who enjoys parties as much as root canals; use
the same effort instead to make these groups really excellent; I'll take
that kind of thanks in much better grace.

[Of course, if someone knows a site outside the US that needs a grumpy
graphics programmer... ;-) ]
