[comp.sys.amiga.misc] INFO WORLD article on amiga

ddyer@hubcap.clemson.edu (Doug Dyer) (01/22/91)

I thought this article was real interesting, so I'll post...
The issue is the latest (The date escapes me) on page 33.

The article discusses the Amigas survival through the "back door" into
big mainstream through multimedia. The author begs purchasers to consider
an Amiga over other computers because of its versatility.

Some interesting things mentioned:
The Amiga multimedia platform "blows away" level II, III multimedia-pc
platforms proposed by Microsoft and IBM, and significantly outperforms
any MAC with any of its video cards.

The article also mentions the Toaster and amigavision.

Well, a pretty neat article, no? It was surrounded by IBM adds.

Later,
and hope we never see one of those "bombs-eye-view" cameras on CNN chase a
jogger.
