G'day, Both "Michael van Elst" and "Loren J. Rittle" correctly diagnosed my problem with multiple repeat of keypresses as being tied to my 68030 board, and not using the KEYPATCH option with SetCPU. Stupidly, I already had the Keypatch parameter in my startup sequence invocation of SetCPU, and should have realised my problem, which was: Using uucico (part of AmigaUUCP) I found that I needed to turn off Cache, Burst and Fastrom in order to make the program work with any degree of certainty. My script then called SetCPU, but didn't call KEYPATCH. Sigh. Thankyou very much for both of your Email responses. Dac -- _l _ _ // Andrew Clayton. Canberra, Australia. I Post .
