THE 'FATTER AGNUS' IN THE LATER A500 CAN RECOGNISE 1MB OF CHIPRAM
THIS AGNUS CHIP IS FITTED TO THE NEWER AMIGAS WITH THE ENHANCED CHIP SET
YOU CAN TEST THIS FROM SHELL ON THE WORKBENCH BY TYPING 'AVAIL'
YOU HAVE 512K OF CHIPRAM ON BOARD AND THE 1.3 KICKSTART CHIP WILL LET
YOU EXPAND BY A FURTHER 512K.YOU CAN ONLY EXPAND TO A MAX OF 9MB
YOU CAN E-MAIL ME IF YOU WANT THE CHIP NO. FOR THE 128K MEMORY CHIPS
IF YOU WANT TO EXPAND THE AMIGA TO THE MAX i.e. 9MB YOU WOULD BE BETTER
BUYING THE A590 HARD DISK WHICH HAS INTERNAL SLOTS FOR MEMORY CHIPS 
INSTEAD OF FOOLING AROUND WITH THE TRAPDOOR SLOT.IF YOU WANT TO EXPAND PAST 
1MB USING THE TRAPDOOR SLOT YOU NEED TO TAKE YOUR AMIGA APART AND PLUG
A SMALL CIRCUIT BOARD INTO THE 'GARY' CHIP SOCKET AND THEN PLUG THE
'GARY' BACK INTO THIS.YOUR GAURENTEE WILL BE VOID AND YOU MAY DO DAMAGE
