I need a program that will allow me to disable 512K of my 1Meg of chip ram. I've got a 2000 with 3megs (2 fast) and the new agnus. I've traced my probs to the fact that I've got 1meg chip ram and my roommate has 512K chip. I know this is the prob. because a program will run on his computer but not on mine. This is the only thing I can think of. Does there exist such a beast or do I have to keep my roommate up all night just so I can play Wayne Gretzky's Hockey... Thanks, AMH -- * Andy Hartman | I'd deny half of this crap anyway!| Support the troops * Indiana University | amhartma@silver.ucs.indiana.edu | in Saudi Arabia! * Computer Science | AMHARTMA@rose.ucs.indiana.edu | // Amiga Man *Professional Student| or just "Hey putz!" | \X/ At Large!

There are various programs around (PD) that allow you to disable the top 512K
chip memory. Including Pal boot which allows you 7 options
Pal mode, 512K chip , no fast mem
Pal mode , 1meg chip, no fast meme
Nstc mode, 512K chip, no fast mem
Ntsc mode, 1 meg chip, no fast
NTSC mode, 1 meg chip, fast mem
pal/ntsc with auto config devices
and I added for my 030
bootcache (turns off the data and burst cache of the gvp 030)
