[comp.sys.amiga.misc] Correcting flicker on Amiga displays

tmd@AUSTIN.LOCKHEED.COM (Tom Davis) (02/14/91)

I would like some help/advice on correcting the flicker problem on
non-interlaced Amiga displays. The Amiga that will need the help is
a 2000 with a color monitor.

I know about the flicker-fixer card and about the polarizer for the
CRT -- but I have these problems:
   (1)	The Amiga I need to fix already has a GenLock card in the
auxiliary video slot, so I can't use any flicker-fixer card
	I've been able to find.
   (2)	The monitor will be a 25" color monitor (and _please_ don't
ask me why!), and no polarizer I've been able to find comes
	that large.

Is there someone out there that has seen/heard of a way to correct the
flicker problem, given these two extra requirements?

The DEB board is an expander that allows you to plug in *two* boards to the
video slot at the same time. Microway makes this device also. What I would
like to know is if two of these boards can be used on top of each other to give
more than two video slots.
