I have a polarized plastic screen over my 1084S monitor, and it DOES
help, to a degree. It isn't a "cure-all", though. However, I now use
my A2000 almost */EXCLUSIVELY/* in INTERLACE mode and am only slightly
bothered by the flicker. I could not have done this before I got the
screen. And it's certainly a LOT cheaper than a "Flicker-Fixer" and
far better than the PD program "antiflicker" that's floating around.
(I must admit that after having my hands on a 3000 with a 1950 monitor
returning to my 2000 with the 1084 monitor is a bit of a let-down).
