[comp.sys.amiga.misc] NEC P6 Printer Setup

jim@syteke.be (Jim Sanchez) (02/18/91)

I am trying to get a NEC p6 to work with A4 (European Size) paper.
The printer was purchased in the US and I do not have the manual
describing the DIP switches. Can anyone give me the DIP switch setup
and any advice about solving the above problem. I have set the
preferences up to use A4 but obviously the printer needs to know about
the paper size as well - otherwise when you do a form feed it does not
go to the next beginning of form.
thanks

This is DIP switch 2 in array SW1. ON means 72 lines (12 inches, DIN A4),
OFF means 66 lines (11 inches, US).
