I have an Amiga 1000 and a Sidecar. I'm been running a quite old version of the Janus library for a while, but now I have got a new version from Commodore. When I use the new software I get several problems about the Hard Disk (jh0:) that I use for the Amiga. When I type 'BindDrivers', and after that 'DJMount', I get a system request: 'Not a dos disk in unit 0' I think this is because Commodore has changed the format of the Janus hard disk, so I made a backup of my entire hard disk........ After this, I tried to reformat it. I booted with my new disk and breaked the startup-sequence directly after booting. Then I typed: 'Binddrivers' 'DJMount' 'system/format drive jh0: name xxxx' The format command now told me to put a disk in jh0: and press RETURN. I did. After this, the format command says: format failed: - not enough memory. Does anybode know what is wrong? I have 512K of memory so I don't really think there is no memory to format a disk. I'm been running a *VERY* old version of the Janus library for a while, but now I have got a new version from Commodore. I booted with my new PC_Install disk and breaked the startup-sequence directly after booting. Then I typed: 'Binddrivers' 'DJMount' 'system/format drive jh0: name xxxx' The format command now told me to put a disk in jh0: and press RETURN. I did. After this, the format command says: format failed: - not enough memory. Does anybody know what is wrong? I have 512K of memory and no other tasks running so I don't really think there is no memory to format a disk. Thanks in advance, Staffan Email: d89-sug@sm.luth.se
