[comp.sys.amiga.misc] WB 1.3.3

ronkko@cc.helsinki.fi (03/11/91)

I noticed the following statement in the bit.listserv.i-amiga:

>Note that WB 1.3.3 is available which has a much enhanced SetPatch, a
>Diskcopy that uses FAST RAM, etc.

Is this WB 1.3.3 really available? In that case, could some of our friendly
C=-people tell us, what exactly are the differences between WB 1.3.2 and 1.3.3?
Does the 1.3.3 setpatch correct ALL of the known bugs in WB, especially those
of intuition (also the 'drawers inside a drawer dropping into each other just by
moving their place on the screen a bit' -bug:-)? I would be more than happy to
have a stable and bug-free WB 1.3, without a need to hunt obscure PD-patches!

One question: is OS 1.3.3 available to amiga-owners at large (?),
I mean, can it be posted somewhere with ftp access for people to
get it from there? It would be *great* for us without access to BIX
(where it's somusedly at).

thanx!

I'd like to hear this too.

A while ago (sometime last year) someone on Compuserve mentioned something
about 1.3.3, but at the time the impression I got was that the biggest
improvements were to a few printer drivers. More recently, I heard from a
user group member that 1.3.3 had a new format program.

Also, how are we supposed to get this upgrade?
