I am looking for a good book that will teach me lot about my A3000. Something analagous to Peter Norton's books for the IBM PC series would be perfect: it doesn't assume great knowledge about the system to begin with, but goes into fairly good detail; its meaty. Topics I'm interested include how to use the shell (including under WB2.0), what all the commands in the startup sequence do and how to modify them, how to fool around with icons... stuff like that. Does anyone have suggestions? Thankx! -Avi Fisch <ajf1@cunixa.cc.columbia.edu>

Amiga Whirled has a new AmigaDOS 2.0 book out that looks really good, and, from my quick browse, appears to be just what you're looking for. --Rick Wrigley fhwri@conncoll.bitnet ~~~---second-hand smoke is THEFT---~~~
