[comp.sys.amiga.misc] ProPage Font questions

Folks,

I have a couple of questions about using fonts for ProPage v. 2.0

1. My postscript cartridge has fonts which ProPage doesn't list... is there
any way for me to use them? Will there be a way for me to display them on
the screen?

2. Can I just go and pick up postscript fonts (like for MSDOS machines),
load them into ProPage, and use them?

3. If I use AGFA Compugraphics fonts, output a document to postscript and
take it to an outside party for printing, will the document translate the
compugraphics fonts to a postscript font (in other words, would it print on
a postscript printer)?

I've been away for quite a while, and in the meanwhile, comp.sys.amiga
seems to have had kittens--lots and lots of subnewsgroups. My apologies if
there is a comp.sys.amiga.postscript.propage.vers2.0 group just for this
question--if anyone has a roadmap to this setup, I would appreciate it.

Thanks

You could ask GoldDisk about them. I remember that I read from the
manual that they have additional metric files to sell, but I`m not
sure about this.

No, you can`t use postscript fonts. That`s about only thing I`m
disappointed.

   3. If I use AGFA Compugraphics fonts, output a document to postscript and

When you select postscript output from menu you get requester with
lots of gadgets. There is a gadget called -Autoload fonts- or
something. If it`s selected then you can print it with any postscript
compatible printer. This is exactly what I do almost every day!
