I have an 8-UP! board in my Amiga 2000 (stock 68000). I would like to know if having 150ns ram in it will cause wait states or what. So far it has been working fine with no memory errors at all. There's one bank of 150ns ram that came with the card and another bank of 80ns ram I put in myself. Can slow memory cause a wait state or would there just be an error? The 8-UP! sits to the right of my Hardframe so it gets configured first - making the HD buffers go into the fast ram instead of chip ram (or does it make a difference?)/ Rob -- Rob Ganshorn - via FidoNet node 1:140/22 UUCP: ...!herald!weyr!70!Rob.Ganshorn Domain: Rob.Ganshorn@f70.n140.z1.FIDONET.ORG Standard Disclaimers Apply...
