Hi... I've got a few questions on the Amiga: --> First, using the Shell (actually, Ash...), is it possible to have more than one command per alias? I'd like to do things like have an alias save the current directory, do something, and then return. Right now I have to write all these silly scripts to do this... --> Second, is it just me, or does CWin (part of the ARP tools package) only want to change one axis at a time? If I have a console window (using GMC:, I might add), and I use CWin to change _just_ the x-size and/or x-position, _or_ _just_ the y-size and/or y-position, it works. But trying to change both x and y at once doesn't work. Right now I type the exact same thing twice to get it to work... --> This is really weird: If I choose "duplicate" from the workbench menu (usually to duplicate drawers which I then rename), the system EATS UP EVERY SINGLE BYTE OF MEMORY (all 4mb of mine!), duplicates the item, and then RELEASES EVERYTHING IT ATE. Why!? This is really weird... Duplicate works, but not like it should! Thanks for replies. Please e-mail me, or post if you think the audience warrants it. ---Joel Kolstad kolstad@jomby.cs.wisc.edu
