"PETER C. FREY" <PFREY%drew.bitnet@pucc.princeton.edu> (04/04/91)
I have heard that there is software available for the Amiga to create a
BBS site. I have also heard that it can handle only up to 3 users at a time.
Why would they issue useless software? Please inform me about what it
can do, as well as price (& whether I can get an educational discount, being
as I am a college student), ease of use, installation, other required
accessories, legal problems (ie, registering the site), etc.
ANY help would be appreciated.

Well, I'm running Paragon 2.0858 as a FIDO BBS right now. It can handle nine lines, although I'm only running one line. The author, Eric Drewry, is in the process of completely re-vamping it under his original name of Star-Net. What would you like to know? -- John M.
