[comp.sys.amiga.misc] Accelerator Cards? So many choices...

"PETER C. FREY" <PFREY%drew.bitnet@pucc.princeton.edu> (04/04/91)

Which accelerator does what? There's the 2630, the GDP (or is it GBP), the
racer, etc. Which is best when running software? I guess it's all a matter
of WHAT software and WHAT one wants to do with it, BUT there must be some
answers out there...

I used to have my heart set on the CSA MegaMidgetRacer, but
now I'm having dreams about the GVP All-In-One, as advertised
in the May 1991 AmigaWorld.

Rundown:

22MHz or 33MHz, expandable to 13 or 16 megs of 32bit ram respectively.
The SCSI Series II controller is built into it, taking advantage of
the 32bit ram path.
