There was a thread a couple of months ago about slow output on windows. I seem to recall the problem source was a program (ls, I think) linking with a non-standard cres.o. I have a vague memory that this caused lots of spurious interrupts, even after the offending program had finished. Serving this interrupts slows down the entire machine (or maybe only screen I/O) significantly. Hopefully someone out there remembers this. What I would like to know is this: If there exists a workaround, what is it? Thanks, Angst P.S. It may have been linked to SKsh as well, but I'm really hazy on that one. --------------- Lt.
