Hello All, I'm going to be in Los Angeles this June (for the 25th star trek convention) and wanted to know if someone can point me to a Amiga Dealer - I just wanta compare prices to see if they might have somethings cheaper - With the tax I doubt it, but I might as well try! I'll be near the Airport area of L.A. (oh any other tips about visiting this part of L.A. Calif. would be appreciated. I've done the theme parks down there already - what else is there?) Thanks in advance - Pam (Bitnet: Axpmw@Alaska Internet: Axpmw@acad2.Alaska.edu)

Consider your criteria, there is one obvious place to go: Creative Computers in Lawndale. Not only is it the largest Amiga dealer in LA, its also reasonably priced and well stocked. ITs close to the airport. Without getting too specific, you need to take the 405 San Diego Fwy SOUTH from the more likely airport entrances (Century Blvd, El Segundo Blvd). Now you need to take the Hawthorne Blvd exit West or South (I forget which way it goes) After about 6 blocks (long blocks, of course) there will be a large intersection intersection with Redondo Beach Blvd. Creative computers is in a mini-mall type construct, so it will not be immediately visible. Its name is listed on the large plaza sign on the right side of the street. It is listed at the top of the sign. The mall is on your right-hand side if you follow the above directions. The mall is at the corner of this intersection. I am 99% sure of the above but it has been a while. Check the address in an LA phonebook (Airport Area directory) and it should be Redondo Beach Blvd. If this is confusing, drop me email and I'll try and rephrase it. Rob -- | Robert E.
